Rail seating in football yayy or nehhhh?

So the next hot topic this summer is the rail seating, so why do this now why rail seating. Well in football recently we have seen an increase of grounds putting this procedure in places for example Celtic Park, where it improves the atmosphere. From doing some research it’s also believed that the German club Hannover 96, the tickets sell out quickest for the safe standing rail seating area. I believe that bringing this development to football it will bring fans and players closer, whilst helping clubs financially and it might be cost saving for the supporter. The Europa league, known to many people as the “Micky mouse cup” to that of the champions league. This year however, has the Europa league finally bridged that gap. I will be analysing two ties in particular in this post, where three English teams have involvement in the ties.

The tie of the round, two of the heavyweights of the English game, Manchester United v Liverpool. Once this game was announced Twitter exploded with delight, delirium and in cases optimism.

Obviously it is not easy, but you can ask my staff, when they asked me yesterday “who do you want?” I said “Manchester United”

Jurgen Klopp

This is the first time the both clubs have been drawn against each other in European competition, so it will be interesting how they both approach the game. One thing is for sure both clubs will be aiming to get the upper on each other and advance to the next stage.

Dortmund v Tottenham

If we thought we where spoilt with Manchester United v Liverpool, where in for a treat with this tie. These two teams have been talked up as two of the favourites to win this years Europa league competition. Tottenham have been high flying in the league, playing attractive football and have the talent in their squad to derail any opponent.

Dortmund have been a heavyweight in the European scene for the last 6 years and that hasn’t faded since. Dortmund might be currently standing second, eight points behind Bayern Munich, but Bayern Munich with their talents that says how well Dortmund have done to stick so close to them In the league.

What teams will progress into the last 8 of the Europa league from these fixtures ?

Please leave your opinions below in the comments section, as of course this subject is massively debatable.
